Thanks for the tips the other day guys, particularly to Boss who suggested riding Twigs with a much more positive but forward contact it really does seem to help. Took her for a lesson with margot tiffany yesterday and what a diffrence! Practiced our turn on the centre line which was much better and although its sounds like the bleeding obvious was told to remember to keep thinking of circles as 'diamonds' to help twig balance herself and not run through the bridle. Also did a few circle spirals in trot and on the outward circle transitions to canter and oh my god, my 'racehorse' has discovered she can carry herself!

was so much nicer to be on a happier feeling horse. Hopefully this is going to be a big step forwards!

Oh quick question too.......Im taking her to an informal dressage comp tuesday night, I normally ride with a kolibri breastplate......does anyone think it will spoil the overall picture or shall i just put a normal one on?
