Puppy Stella once kindly brought me a dead kingfisher, dropping it nicely in my palm (I thought it was a leaf!) so you never know about the gundog thing Bostons are certainly crazy about fetching things.

I *heart* Pele the Golden. His sister lives in the neighbourhood, too, and she is equally gorgeous.

In her puppy stages, Stella was obsessed with grabbing another dog's lead and dragging them along for a walk. So I suppose that counts as fetch.

She's sweet with Stella, but has evil ankle-biting tendencies around the big dogs. My experience of Cairns (seem to be loads of them in NY) is that they are way more feisty than JRTs.
