Day four in the chubby boyfriend saga, and they are getting closer. They don't quite snuggle in, but they are on the same third of sofa, and frequently go butt to butt, or paw over paw. He likes to sniff her as much as possible, and she likes to whiff his paws when the mood takes her.

Prince is smitten with the lady in his life. He repeatedly tries to clamber into Stella's bed, but she is having none of it, after which he cries up a storm

Also, I'm starting to see the beginnings of a waist after three days of brisk walks. I can't wait to get them up to Connecticut this weekend.

Otto is sooooo jealous that Prince gets to breathe the same air as Stella!

What a lucky boy to have ended up with you

Aww, thanks

He is settling in so well. Apart from one mammoth pee down my dining table, and a snore louder than the 6 train, he is a dude. I was a bit worried about having him sleep in a crate in the living room overnight (due to the aforementioned snoring) but he is unphased. Actually, I think he's rather knackered from his thrice-daily walks.

We met a Great Dane this morning, and I was a bit nervous (a Dane nearly killed Prince when he was two; he has deep scars on his hips) but he was so friendly and confident. (Quite unlike Miss Stella, who loathes all sand-coloured Pit Bulls on account of a teeth-baring female who lives around the corner.)

And Stella said Otto is welcome to share her squeaky ball any day of the week.

They are both gorgeous, my pug still snores really well even though he is very fit and lean!! I have now had a pug for over 25 years and I have grown to like their snoring.

Has Prince been castrated? All mine have been entire and a couple of them have been devils for peeing!!

No, he was castrated at four months (!). He came from a pet store (and therefore a puppy mill) so the less said about his background the better. He is a bit of a camel, actually, peeing two or three times a day, and showing no interest in marking fire hydrants and such.

Their snoring is intense! Stella's is more of a gentle purr in comparison.
