...it will only be in 6-10 months, as we'd like to be in our new digs beforehand.

Anyway, I'm thrilled to bits that DH has finally caved on the second dog front. (Moreover, I'm glad he hasn't been put off altogether after our foster didn't work out last year.) Anyway, we've decided that a puppy is the way to go, and while we adore Bostons, we would like that same personality, only in slightly more relaxed form.

Huey has just produced three lovely pups, and will be doing another mating at the end of the year. We're hoping for a boy to join Ms. Stella on her precious sofa

ooh... how do you think the queen bee will take to a bit of competition for your attention?

Just fine

She doesn't mind a jot when I make a big fuss over other dogs. We have various canines coming and going to our apartment, and she does love the company (only, the newbie has to let her win at tug of war, otherwise she'll thwack him over the head with the rope

How exciting! Can't wait for puppy pictures.

Expect 10,000 or so snaps the weekend we go to pick him up.

The breeder is all the way down in Pennsylvania, so maybe I'll seize the chance to make a reality-docu-drama about the new partnership

As well as Frenchies, the breeder shows Ibizan Hounds. I didn't think there was anyone else who quite appreciated the merits of chunky monkeys *and* skinny minnies. Good job they're not Salukis, as I'd be sticking one on the roof rack

My friend has just added a French Bulldog to her household, and her BT is being all sulky one minute, all play mode the next. I expect things shall be much the same.

Stella turns five in July, and I'm hoping that the new addition will maintain her youthful attitude.

Love Huey - he reminds me of a kangeroo??? When we started the BT search, I quite often got them mixed up with French Bull Dogs, specially the black and white ones. Good luck and I'm sure the gracious Stella will find it in her heart to welcome him !

We'd like a brindle or a red fawn with black mask. There is still an outside chance we'll get another BT, but I think the energy in the household might just be too much.
