My husband and I are sat at home waiting for the results of an MRI/spinal tap on our beloved Stella. Yesterday was nothing short of hellish. It started with a fairly innocuous trip to the dog park, though when we got home Stella began staring at the ceiling ("stargazing", the nurse called it), moving along the corridor in our flat and stopping at the bathroom. It lasted a few minutes, but it seemed very odd. So I took her straight to the veterinary hospital. Within an hour I'd spoken to the ER doctor and a neurologist, both of whom suspected a mild psychomotor seizure. She did not bang her head, and far as I know she ate nothing off the ground. Being that Stella is 7.5, and in the words of the doctor "too old to develop inherited seizures", we are looking at other causes, none of them good (brain tumour
; vestibular disease; liver shunt). We should have the results of the MRI by noon today; please keep our special girl in your thoughts.
