Stencil bums

I have just ordered myself a born to hunt stencil bum.
My friend is now laughing at me,saying that they are very hard to do,and that i will loose my rag and give up part way through!!!!
Has anyone every used one before.......please tell me they are simple!!!

I've got one with different sized hearts on it and it's a doddle!

I did the crown last year and it was quite fiddly - you just need to be patient and you'll be fine. Mine probably took about 40 mins and it came out brilliantly

I'm currently trying to decide what to do this year

ETA: I bought some of those tiny Wahl battery clippers to do the really awkward bits, and they made life much easier.

They're ok to do, you just need a bit of patience. Last year I done a treble cleff (his posh name is music man) and the year before I done Music Man IV.
I also do mine with smaller battery clippers.

It took me 20 mins per felix stencil. I havent decided what to do this year...
