I went to sleep but as soon as I woke up I logged on to see what had happened.

Its also starting to blow up on our local forums, as Im at the yard who took the clothes, stove and food down to him on Sunday. And someone on our yard is now the contact for homing and donation queries at the Horse and Owner Resucue Centre.
 
Its amazing, I started the other thread 'Is Anyone Else Not Entirely Convinced By the Horse Hoarders Plight?' which I wrote just after watching the programme and speaking to people from my yard who are totally in awe of Clwyd and Michelle.

I honestly thought there was something wrong with me, now, a week later I know its certainly not me!
 
Actually, I take the crown here and I expect you all to send ME some donations as I was the first to shout "knob" within about 10 minutes of the programme starting.

I got shot down for it!!

So please now all sent donations in the form of wine, cigarettes, plain hard cash and Lemon meringue pie.

leaving this support page because it allows non supporters trying to stop people donating by telling lies about Clwyd. We collected a lot of money which will all be given back to the people who donated it as a support page should be a support page and not a page for haters of Clwyd to snoop/find out/put people off/wind supporters up...........i had a message about some of these poeple on here and admin let them stay...............this should be a total support page for Clwyd not for his haters...............

Hannah Cregg why will the money have to be given back if you unlike this page? no one on here has been hateful except you, everyone else seems to have genuine concerns/questions even if their veiws do happen to differ slightly, no one has said the horses shouldn't be helped

Julie White a real supporter would not leave or retract their money over a few comments on an FB page, think you are more of a wind up than some of the people you are accusing, and we live in a democracy where we are allowed to voice our opinions, shutting out people who don't agree only tells them there are things to hide. As long as people are polite with their questions i can't see a problem, some raise very valid points which need to be answered.

Support for Clwyd Davies and his horses

To try and clear a few things up:

Q: Are the horses in the pictures his? Simple yes or no, there's been plenty of time to ask him.
A: As you are all aware Clwyd is the subject of an ongoing legal case, his solicitor has expressly requested that no further comment be made publicly in relation to this legal matter

Q: Where will the horses he is apparently going to be left with be kept? As he's effectively fly grazing on someone else's land at the moment.
A: Michelles aim is to help Horses and Owners in exactly situations like this, however rescue centres are brimming and relocating wild horses takes months of work and involves significant costs, the aim of this site was to raise awareness and funding tol allow michelle people like Clwyd on an individual basis, so far paypal donations amount to around £170 meaning Michelles ability to help and the options she has available to her very limited.

Q: Why have the mares been allowed to get in foal to their own offspring, or sires?
A: Quite simply this is a result of poor equine management and is exatly the reason Michelle needs help and funding to enable her to educate and help owners to correctly manage herds, dontaions and help for things like electric fencing etc are all going to help her help others with situations like this.

Q: Why has it taken months to remove the colts, and three are apparently still there?
A: Michelle has assisted Clywd in rehoming over 30 horses, each one a considerable undertaking in time and resources, she has done this with next to no funding, help or support, this has been made more difficult by not been able to get a trailer onto wet land to catch horses. If you want to see michelle work faster and more effectivly dealing with cases like this then why not help her in some way?

Q: What is happening with the proceeds from the sales? Are people just funding a dealer?
A: Its not a matter of funding a dealer no, if you look at the basic costs of rehoming these 30 some horses already dealt with feed, haylage, stabling, worming, louse treatments, vets bills and grooms help from Michelle, its suprising how far money doesnt go! Any surplass from the sales of Clwyds horses have been used to improve the living standards of horses that remain in his care. Please also take into account that Clwyd is not the only person Michelle is helping - hence she needs our help!

Q: What measures will be put in place to stop the breeding cycle just starting again?
A: The plan eventually given the time and resourse is to catch and geld all colts and rehome them, eventually Clwyd will be left with just the older mares that will not be tamed and no stallion

I am so glad i never watched the programme, and this is the first thread ive read about it, slept well bar the coughing as ive a CI, the snippets on here ensure i wont read the other as id just get my knickers in a twist thankyou ;)
 
Im in work with the forum tabs open on my screen and facebook on my mobile. Need to get some work done or I'll be in trouble. What if I loose my job over this and I cant look after my horse.......wait....theres a rescue centre for that isnt there....
 
We need a support group 'Support group for those who need support in weaning off the support for Clwyd and his horses page' ;)
If I fail my 'degress' I will have no job and I will squat and await for the electricity to turn on and be provided a bath from social services. It's my hooman writes don't 'chat know?!
 
hubby made me turn the lappy off :( He was laughing though as he said it's nice to see me back to my normal self:confused: when prompted apparently i've been real wishywashy since my sister died, trying to be nice to everyone and not be judgemental, according to him 'the Bitch is back':eek: and he's happy:o
I'm not that bad really but this has certainly reminded me that you can't treat everyone as honest and good because there are far too many scammers out there willing to fleece anyone gullible enough!

You will never guess what happened this morning *hangs head in shame*.
The road to my horses was blocked so I diverted along main road (also route to work) and I got so engrossed in my thoughts about how the Clwyd situation should be solved that I got threequarters of the way to work and then thought "OMG, my horses, I haven't fed my horses" :eek::eek::eek:

As I got out of my car I heard a frail whinney... poor Fari.
