Hello strange dog people
My Stepdog has sore skin on her paws - a suggestion being that she may be allergic to the laundry detergent* used to wash her bedding.
Is there any such thing as a hypo allergenic laundry which is more suitable for pets?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :)

*My partner's mother throws so much powder in that clothes come out of the wash still powdery....

Vet seems to think allergy to external things - and has given us steroid cream, wipes, and a muzzle (Stepdog holds firm opinions about interference with her hairy hobbit feet).
I'm going to change the detergent used for her bedding etc.
And if that doesn't work, it's prednisolone pills for a short period, then look at other possible causes/treatments.
Thank you for the suggestions - every one is appreciated.

I accidentally washed my mare's Boett with biological detergent, she came up with really itchy skin. I used Fairy non bio and she went back to normal, might be worth just trying a non bio liquid?

When Persil non-bio formula changed I had to find suitable replacement PDQ due to allergy/eczema problems with youngest son. Only one that suited is Aldi non-bio basic powder, not any of the fancier Aldi non-bio capsules or other non-bio brands I tried, including Fairy and new version Persil.
