stephens sheepskin pads: generous fit?

i am looking to buy a sheepskin half pad are the stephens ones a generous fit ie will a medium size fit under an 18" saddle or will i have to get a large one?

i would say you would have to get a large...i think...i have a full size and it fits my 17.5, if a teeny weeny bit too big.

typical theres one on ebay thats got no reserve at 99p at the mo but is only a medium

hi, was just having a quick browse at stephens stuff on ebay and found this in one of the e-shops

its maybe the item your talking about but it says

Small (S) Fits 14” - 16” Saddles
Medium (M) Fits 16” - 17.5” Saddles
Large (L) Fits 17.5” - 19” Saddles

id measure your saddle with a tape measure and check the exact length

also if bidding stays low and it doesnt fit....you can always sell it on again

but by the sound of it you may need a large one im afraid

I have 2 of these pads, both a medium, the medium fits perfectly on my 17.5 inch saddle, but is too short for my 18 inch, so go with a large!

I have a medium (I bought it off a forum member

) and my saddle is 17.5". At first I thought it was a tad small but actually it is fine. I don't think it would fit a 18" that well though.

I have a large one that is no longer needed - its practically brand new, but have now bought a well fitting saddle.
