My pony had a steroid injection in his stifle about 11 days ago, and on Thursday he was crippled in front. We had the vet out the same day and she thinks he may have laminitis, his not rocking back at all his a bit shifty on his feet at times but not to bad, he did have a digital pulse worse in one of his front legs. A couple of weeks before he had the injection he was slightly unlevel in front but my vet said he was probably compensating for his stifle. He is currently on 2 bute a day and sedalin twice a day, he is a lot comfier then what he was and he is getting around his stable much better. We are having x rays done on Tuesday to see what is going on. just wondered if anyone had ever had this happen to them and what the actual verdict was? thanks
