As the title really.

What was the reason for your horse having them? Arthritis?

Was it successful? Totally or just better than previous?

How long did it last?

Did u have more done once the first had worn off?

Any infections post-injection?

Many thanks :)

Hi my horse had coffin joint injections due to ringbone although the coffin joint was clean on the X-ray it was the joint above where the ringtone was but always blocked to the coffin joint anyway came sound after injection and was sound for about a year then re injected again sound for a year no infection after the injections and she has always responded well to them hope that helps

My question is always to ask what the cause is particularly if it is a recurring problem. Unless kicked or otherwise struck somehow tendons tend to complain when they are being asked to do too much and this is usually because the muscles to which they are related higher up the leg are not doing their job properly and therefore the tendons are being overloaded. Find someone locally who can palpate your horse and give a good reasoned diagnosis as to the root cause. Injections will have their effect and depending on what work you are asking your horse to do will last more or less time. My guess would be that there is a muscular problem higher up but only by seeing the horse would it be possible to tell.

Coffin joint arthritis, 15 years ago. Injections gave temporary relief, then problems recurred.
Wouldn't do it again, since then I've been a stickler for correct foot balance and have never had foot pain in a horse again.

Sort the feet out at the same time if you're going to have the injections is my advice.
