Afternoon - I was wondering whether any of you clever people knew (approximately) what the withdrawal period for oral steroids (prednisolone) is? I've not used them before... thanks.

Hi It depends on the dose and for how long it has been taken for, it should be done gradually, sorry cant be more helpfull

As previously said it depends on the doze and how long they have been on them.
When my boy was on them earlier he had 2 sachets for one day, 1 sachet for 5 days and 1/2 sachet for 2 weeks and when he came off them for a biopsy he had to be off them for 10 days before he was able to have his biopsy.
Sorry not much help really and we are on them now until further notice :/
