Hey guys!
Thought I'd do another little update on our adventures.
We did some stressage as I like to call it the weekend just gone, it's only Baloos second time trying out dressage so kept it simple for the both of us as I'm not particularly gifted in this department!
We did intro A to start with, takes quite some time for baloo to warm up so although he was very good for his test we did get the comment of tension and 'stage freight'. We also had comments about coming forward into the contact but that's a working progress!
I decided to give a prelim a go as well, his canter does actually tend to be better than his trot but I was a bit worried about it. I certainly didn't ride the canter forward which means we had a break into trot! The rest was actually very good and the trot work was miles better than the first test.
The good news is we actually came 5th in both classes! I was so so pleased with him to come 5th twice as I was not expecting anything especially in the prelim! He scored in the 60%+ region too so super proud.
