My TB mane has had his mane falling to the nearside for god knows how long. I have been trying to train it to correct side over the last few weeks and have solocombed it over, plaited it and oiled it over - all to no effect. Now it is just sticking up. Anyone got any ideas?

Brylcream and a lycra hood, but don't leave it on all the time, just at night.

Works wonders and stops my Sec D looking like Tina Turner!!

Does it matter that it's on the wrong side? For most competitions you'd plait it anyway in which case you can just plait it onto the right side. Otherwise why not just leave it and save yourself a lot of hassle?

I have native pony with deviant mane which lies on the "wrong" side. We just live with it, and never get marked down for it (he does pretty well at shows). It's never ever been commented on in the 3 years we've had him.
