My TB mare has always got a stiff mouth, and her lips are always really tight, where as my WB mare is very floppy mouthed.
When WB mare had vet out, she had to be sedated, and vet said she wasn't fully relaxed as her mouth was still tight, so i am now beginning to wonder if something is up with TB mare. Still follow??
I haven't had her very long, and she is still a bit under weight. I have changed her feeding to a more simple one, and she looks tonnes better.
Can anyone please give me any pointers? Are some horses just tight lipped, or is something genuinely up with her??
Shes doesn't have a temperature, and is eating an drinking fine, though it was mentioned by a fellow HHO'er that she was a bit dehydrated, so i am adding electrolytes to her water.
Thank you
