So, a few years ago my mare was diagnosed with rear hock injury to her left leg. We saw a few vets and the last the one said put her on bute. She’s 15 now. It’s been a few years now and she has done well on the bute. We haven’t had any issues. Only thing is now she is getting even more stiffer than usual. To the point where my dad has noticed it when it came up
To the yard. I’ve been monitoring her for the past few days, and I am going to get the back physio out. Just to rule out anything going on there.
I’m also tempted to call the vet but not until after the back physio has been.
Does anybody have any advice on where to go for from here?
