hello
I have a 16.1hh irish sport horse mare used for dressage, autumn last year she progressively became lame, and after several visits from the vet it was shown she had damaged part of a ligament in her stifle.
Following this she went to Newmarket for an operation and has been on walking therapy since. She is currently living out during the day..and is ridden in walk everyday for half an hour, she is now sound in walk.
I am going to begin trotting soon, and was wondering if anyone has any experience in ligament injurys to see the chances of her staying sound in trot..and possibly (fingers crossed) returning back to work.
Thank you
