A while back Little Stig decided he would do a ten mile walk to raise money for Equine Market Watch.
Well Saturday was the big day and Stiggy (along with his little army of helpers) walked his little hooves off.....and the rest of us went through a pair of trainers each!
Stop one was a local supermarket, and then it was onto the local Pets At Home (who kindly provided tea/coffee for the already footsore!).
From there Stiggy walked to his last stop (a pub who has now agreed to host a fund raising evening for EMW) where the lovely landlady Kate fed everyone, and provided drinks and gave Little Stig the run of the pub garden, which for him, I think, was definately the highlight!
After that it was the final push for home where we arrived seven hours after we had set out!!!
Many thanks to those who sponsored Stiggy on his just giving page, and to those enroute who filled his little collection pots.
We still have more promised but so far Stiggy has raised a few pence short of £200!
Heading for the supermarket:
Heading off to Pets At Home:
Four year old little Emily "Do you want a leaflet...No you DO so here you are, and pennies go in that pot!"
Arriving at the pub garden:
With Kate the lovely lovely landlady:
And Jade in her EMW t-shirt (thankyou Helen for those!)
