Well I went for a small pootle around the block yesterday with my friend as usual. We thought we would have a little canter and Seren went nuts! Totally out of character for her to go quite so wild. I have found her a little changed this past year or two but was still left so shocked at what she did.
She basically turned into a rodeo horse! She was bucking and broncing, all over the shop, trying to get me off!! My jaw was on the floor for a good half hour, thankfully I stayed on, even with her best efforts to have me off.
I can tell she has felt well recently and her foot does not seem to be giving her trouble as she has been striding out just fine, except stony ground ofcourse.
Anyway, I will ride again later, same route and may consider trying to canter her in front, more than likely I will make her walk it, she needs to settle down again that's for sure, cant have her being so volatile, its just unpleasant. I don't mind a little bit of go, but she really was rather dangerous, which I am shocked at, her playing up and spooking is usually manageable but she was really fighting me.
I will keep an eye, I think she was just feeling too well as opposed to any back issues, but I will monitor it.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. Some good luck vibes for riding her today and also for hopefully passing one of my exams which I sat last Wednesday would be really appreciated.
Flipping horses, grrr, I am trying to regain my confidence as it is, I do feel ok ish as I did manage to hold on tight and stay on.
Anyway, some famous HHO vibes would be much appreciated, thanks
