Has anyone else got a thoroughbred that hasnt changed their coat yet? With all the talk of clipping going on, I have had my blades sharpened, clippers serviced and I dont know why I bothered. Not a winter hair in sight! I am in Cumbria on the high ground aswell! Brrrrrr at night. Perhaps he is telling me we are going to have a mild winter, either that or he thinks he is in Dubai.

Well perhaps you should move to Cumbria and your ginger will instantly shed the winter coat. Cumbria twinned with Dubai! I think mine is just showing off personally.

I fear yours will be far too hot here in Cumbria/Dubai, you should have made the move sooner

Yup, my chestnut TB still lovely and short clipped me other one the other day cos he was a hairy beast, I think my TB is just very hot blooded!

My WBxTB still has her summer coat and she's living out 24/7 in either no rug or just her lite Amigo XL at the mo. I did clip her last weekend when I had the clippers going, but took off nothing but the minutest amount of hair. It was pathetic! But at least my trace lines are done, ready for when she does decide to get some winter coat through

My Arab hasn't got any extra hair yet. Although that could be to do with her cushings medication!
