In future Sammie go and actually LOOK at the things you think you might want to purchase rather than bidding away merrily and then finding out that there may be a problem.

If you are a Seller and your item is sold but for whatever reason does not go through, you are able to reclaim all your expenses back from eBay. I've done 6000+ transactions on eBay (buying and selling) and occasionally, for one reason or another, I've bought or sold something that ends up not being bought. See here for info. So your Seller would not be out of pocket if you did not proceed with the purchase. You, on the other hand, although cannot be left negative feedback, could end up with a Non-Paying-Bidder Strike against you. See here for info about not paying.

I'd read through the above links so you know where you stand. It seems waiting 7 days after a listing finishes, is the accepted time to wait before complaining about the other party not contacting you.

Hopefully they'll have called you back by now and have let you know what's going on. Fingers are still crossed for you
