Hi

We were supposed to be visiting a pony on Monday which was going to come down for a 4 week trial with view to buy. Anyway we have been let down so are looking again.

I know some of you have scoured the internet for us before but I thought I would ask again incase anyone has anything new coming up.

Does anyone have a 13.2hh (ish) pony for sale price upto £1000 inc tack?

Age not important but must be safe.

Thanks for reading.

love pony hunting!
what area are you in/willing to travel over?
Age, sex etc?
Have you considered a rehome from a charity? RSPCA, WHW, Blue Cross amongst others? Would give you more choice for your budget?

As I have a very upset 10 year old, I'm willing to travel to the ends of the earth. However I am based in Swindon in Wilts so the closer to that the better.

No preference of age, sex etc. Just want a safe (cheap) little pony for my baby.

Thanks

WHW has a fair few http://www.worldhorsewelfare.org/help-today/horse-loan-scheme-search
Blue cross http://www.bluecross.org.uk/web/site/bc_...;submitted=true (loving the look of indi!)
this lady looks nice http://www.horsemart.co.uk/advert/9_yrs_14_2_hh_black_dales_kent/85240
There are a couple on horse quest, though that size seems tricky to come by!
another interesting looking one http://www.horsemart.co.uk/advert/10_yrs_14_1_hh_black_yorkshire/84899
Seems you can get older with some lameness issues, or younger and been out of work a little while, or recently broken and still green. Depends what you mean by safe really and how much work the pony is likely to have and the riding level the pony would need to be suitable for.
I feel your pain though, took months to find my horse, traveling the country!
Instead of possibly rushing into something as your child is so upset, perhaps it would be possible to do an 'own a pony for a day' type thing at your local riding school? Might help your child a little and also take the pressure of you trying to find 'the one'?

We went with another one, who then emilaed this morning to say they had changed their minds and then phoned the exmoor who had been sold only this morning. Could happily kick myself.
