Hi, I have just been away for 10 days and expected that my girl would have shed her winter coat in the meantime as it had already gone in patches beforehand. She started living out since early April and weather has been kind so she has been naked for most of the time. Her coat also is not as shiny as it used to be and I am now a bit worried as to what to do next. The other horses have put on weight while she has not (she is not easily putting on weight (TB) but often fills up relatively nicely when grass comes through. Her teeth are done regularly and last time less than 6 months ago. Am thinking that I will need to feed her some supplement again - had stopped giving hard feed as she did not show interest in it when the grass was first getting rich - but want to try again. But anyway she does not look great and she usually looks great after a little break, Any thoughts?
