Stirrup advice and where can I buy....

So just wondered what size peoples stirrups were! Im just about to order some and they are giving me an option of 4 3/4 or 5. My foot is a size 6 and it will be on a jump saddle.

Also where can I find the treads that have the cheesegrater effect on them, want to get some to put in these new stirrups! Thanks

I wear size 6 boots and my stirrups are 4 3/4

Derby house had the cheesegrater's in the catalogue

I'm a size 7 and use a 4 3/4 a five inch is more of a mans stirrup

Its the width of your foot plus an extra 1/4inch either side.

Spot on k9H they should have a fingers width either side of the foot. Ive seen so many nasty accidents where stirrups are too small.

I have size 7.5 ariats and i have the willaim funnel bendy flexi stirrups and mine are a 5in.
