Hi, have just decided to do a bit of jumping so have purchased a secondhand Wintec jump saddle as not that keen to jump using my dressage saddle.

So now have to buy mounts for it. Not wanting to spend too much as it will be very much a second saddle. I was wondering about stirrups, quite tempted to go for something a bit different. Would like opinions on materials such as composite or polymer, has anyone tried either or should I just stick with stainless steel? All suggestions welcome!

Thanks in advance.

One of my best ever buys are my Thorowgood Tuff stirrups, cheap (about £12), lightweight, hard wearing, easy to clean, and they don't mark my saddle like steel ones do.
