Can anybody recommend any as I have to buy some, mid range in price nothing too expensive or cheap, I have size 2 boots which I hate cos they are too small.

Also I am going to pay for my horse over the weekend and agreed a price for him and his tack, I have had a text this morning saying that the leather girth, stirrups and leathers are not included as she will use with other horse, fair enough, but should I haggle on price or put it down to me being too trusting and not clarifying what came with the saddle.

Thats proper cheeky. If the ad said comes with tack i would expect stirups and leathers.
Have a look at your local tack shop- personally i like the hide leathers with phillis irons.

Thanks Dianchi, I didn't know if it was just me being sensitive, I must say I would except the saddle to be complete, I guess i will just put it down to naievety (sp) on my part.

When I bought both my event saddle and my dressage saddle neither of them came with accessories! - But to be honest I didnt expect them to.

It only means that as the seller, you've got to then go out and buy new ones for your next saddle.
If the leathers, girth etc are thrown in then that's a bonus!

I got fed up with buying cheap leathers which stretched very quickly, so I shelled out for Stubben ones, I reckon I've had them about five years, I never swop them over but I do check the length (last night, strangely) and they have never stretched.
