I have Sprenger Bow Balance ones, they are very comfy and certainly save my ankles. The only reason I would buy those against the "normal" Sprengers though would be because of the wide tread which I find much easier to hold.
Sprenger, normal bendy-sided ones and bow-balance. tbh i can't feel the difference between the two.
they're half the price in Germany, so if you can, get someone to bring/send some over! i got 2 pairs for £80, instead of one...
this page shows both, i have 1 pair of the top ones, 2 pairs of the 2nd ones down. very good for dodgy knees and ankles, i can really feel the difference.
(p.s. they're cheaper on ebay, cheaper still from Germany!) http://www.frogpool.com/prodcat-433.html
I have just bought the bow balance ones off ebay.Though wish I knew they were cheaper in Germany (cheers Kerilli!) as have a mate who lives out there (army) so would of got her to get me them!!
They came the other day so will be testing them out on Sunday at our P2P as will be in the saddle all day!
My cruciate ligaments are pretty shot & my ankle can hurt after a long period so it will be interesting to see how I get on with them. Will let you know.
How's that mad pacer of your's doing!!!
This probably won't help but they were in a very small white tent- not one of the big guys ones , I can picture where it was but not much else. They had plain white bags and seemed small. I think they might have had t-shirts with funny slogans on too but I can't think who they were.
