Stirrup Irons

Ok what size do I need?

Measured my boot - 4and 5/8ths - looked at stirrups and the tread reads 4.5 - so how does my foot fit into my stirrup in the first place?

What size should I look to get?

I would always go a little larger for safety, you never want your foot stuck! I would go with a 5" so you have plenty of space either side of your boot. If you are concerened about the look, then maybe get a slightly slimmer pair for showing.
