Stirrup Irons

Argh! My flexi stirrup irons (like these have died - well, more accurately, one of them has! I got on this afternoon, and whilst tightening my girth the chain bit of the iron popped! I can't find a way to fix it, so I guess I'm going to have to replace them(it).

I'd quite like a pair like my sister has, but I can't find them anywhere. They look like ordinary stirrup irons, but where the arm meets the tread it is jointed or hinged. Any ideas what they are called?!

or, any other recommendations for irons? I like the flexible ones as I have a stupid foot and a dodgy knee and they do seem to take the pressure off them.

not quite what I mean - I just don't know how to describe them.... there is like a pivot point at the bottom of the arm rather than bendy bits down the sides? does that help?

i didn't think £30 was too bad really! the MDC ones are horrifically expensive tho!

I have a pair of Sprenger Bow Balance stirrups and I think they are absolutely fantastic. All my knee pain has disappeared since I started using them from day one. Love them

but if you think the others are too expensive then don't look up these
