Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but I need some new stirrup leathers and I haven't got a clue what length to buy. The ones I have at the moment are too long. I have to ride on the last hole, and when I jump, I am having to put a twist in them. I am 5'4 and my legs are quite short.
Any help gratefully received.

I am 5' 2" and have resorted to junior ones in the past!

Not sure what length the one I have now are but had to make some extra holes as the top was still too long.

hi silly statement i know but you could measure the ones you have and get some about 4 inches shorter. if you go on your height then you might get it wrong i am 5.7 but short legged so have short stirrups

Measures them and they are 57" including the buckle (they have enough adjustment for me to dressage and jump). But might be worth taking one of you leathers to the tack shop, and getting one that is a few inches shorter.

take my advise get some good ones and dont forget to clean them first, I bought the cheaper option and needless to say they went when I needed them most, mid gallop on an ex racer my stirrup flew about 10 meters out into a potatoe field (I dont know how I didnt come off but money was not an object for my replacement pair)
