At the moment I use dressage webbers, with the buckle at the bottom, but I want some 'normal' leathers, how do I work out what size I want?

Sorry for the stupid question

It depends on how tall you are and what you will use them for! I am 5'6 and my normal leathers are 54" long and 1" wide. I use them for hacking and jumping and that is fine for me.

I think that around 54" is a fairly standard length for ladies leathers - mens tend to be longer, say, 60".

Simply measure the distance from your stirrup bar to your stirrup iron top, then double (in inches usually) then buy the size next above this.
