i am just using wintec webbers, i didn't know if i would get in with them but they are great and i haven't upgraded. i have had them 3 yrs and they have lasted much better than my bates ones i bought afterwards.
im sure if wintecs are ok, the ones you are looking at would be fine?

My view on stirrup leathers is that you should pay as much as you can afford and NEVER buy cheap leather ones. If you cant afford to buy english leather then get synthetic. They are a safety item and it is never worth the risk.

So in answer to your question i wouldnt buy them. you cant tell from a photo the quality of the leather. Go to your local saddlery or buy a known brand. Wow do good ones if you have a stockist near you.

I have a pair of the Amerigo ones - bit pricey but worth every penny -havent stretched and look as good as new -had them for 5 years now and they are brill

I use Bates Webbers and have been very pleased with them - especially for endurance riding.

Funny enough, yesterday I rode for the first time in ages with "normal" stirrup leathers, and I really did notice the extra bulk of the double thickness under my leg, now that I'm used to it NOT being there.
