I am unsure if my stirrups are the right length, as I find when I’m trying to trot that I’m reaching for them, however, when I put them up one hole, I find that my knee is going over the front of my saddle. It’s a dressage saddle if that makes a difference.
Should I try different stirrups? Mine are two years old so I get that they may have stretched but they don’t look much different and if I should try new ones, what would anyone recommend please?

I was always taught length should be bottom of stirrup should be level with your ankle when your leg is relaxed and hanging down. Obviously this will change depending which discipline you're doing but for general riding, it's about right. OR you can measure length by holding the stirrup in your armpit and your fingers touch the stirrup bar.
