Stirrup lengths

How many holes to you guys go up for XC after SJing?

I only go up one - but just read in NL someone saying but them up two holes - now I dont have really short stirrups to SJ in but if I put them up two my knees would be up near my ears!! Could it be something to do with having long legs?

I put my stirrups up 4 holes from dressage to SJ and another one or two for XC

I SJ in my XC length.
I go up 6 holes normally unless horse is explosive in the dressage when they would go up only 4 holes lol

I have a dressage saddle so just have my even saddle for jumping and I just go up one hole from SJing to XC

5-6holes from dressage to jumping, no shorter from SJ to XC.

I have a dressage saddle too, although wear the single flap jumping saddle only on snoop as my d saddle doesnt fit him (too big) but it was bought for Bally/Winston anyway.

4 up from dressage to jumping then one up to sj ......... with dressage and jumping saddles though i only have ickle legs hee hee!

If doing dressage on a jump saddle will go up about 4 to sj then another 2 or 3 to go xc but I do ride quite short.

For SJ I go up 6 holes and then another 2 for XC. I like having short stirrups whilst jumping.

Dunno think i went up about 5 for XC from SJ at Aldon, just feel alot safer ridding shorter since ive been working in racing!!

well i SJ in my XC length - i hate jumping anything with remotely long leathers!! i have 145cm leathers and have had to put an extra 3/5 holes in them and am still on the top whole for both SJ and XC!!

Depends on what boots I am wearing, but usually sj up 2 rom dressage and then 1 more for xc, but I do like to have very short stirrups!

When I jsut had my GP I would go up 6 holes for xc/sj.

Not sure of the difference now I have my dressage saddle.

The more worried about jumping I am the shorter my stirrups go, it makes me feel safe, I also have a very bad habit of shoving my feet thought the stirrups at the last minute, think I should be a hiunter

i go up about 4 from dressage, then another 1 or 2, depending on the horse or saddle. i have little legs so it is easier...
