Just checking before I buy which colour tread is correct. I have a piebald show cob so hoping to get her out this season. I usually ride in Sprenger bendy stirrups which have rubber at the sides so will need new stirrups.

Black for me as they should be as unobtrusive as possible so they will blend in with your boots better.

^^ and with a sharp stanley knife trim them flush with the iron. Little things add up to the overall picture. Just like rounding the corners on your number makes the number card sit nicely on your jacket and not flap in the wind.

A few options there then! We won't be doing County level, well not this season, but the local RCs do have high turnout standards. Good tip about the stanley knife and competitor number, thanks AdorableAlice.

You are welcome, and if you have any little scars or nicks you need to cover over, waterproof mascara does the job nicely.

My hunter galloped his way round at the very highest level and no one had any idea he has white scars on both fronts caused by a previous owner over bandaging. On bay/black/brown legs use a combination of felt tip marker pens and mascara, carefully blending the colours to match the coat. Boot polish runs.

Have fun and good luck.
