I want some decent treads for my Australian bent leg irons.

Does anyone know of any really grippy ones available? Everything I can find seems to be for fillis irons. I have tried bendy stirrups and shock absorbing ones, but still prefer my bent legs!

i have metal tread, they are Fantastic, i woudnt be witout them during xc but i also use them for flatwork and sj, hacking etc, not sure wheer you can get them, google maybe, i know they have them in derby with iron i think! they really are the best without a dought!

I looked at a pair of metal ones in Frogpool at the weekend (resemble cheese graters) are these the ones? I may get a pair if so as they sound good. I love my bent leg irons too!!!

I rang frogpool and got them to try those treads (Buxactic cheese grater £17.99) on Bent leg stirrup irons.

Whilst they fit, they move from side to side as nothing gives them a positive stop. Didn't think that sounded like a good idea, so I am back to the drawing board!
