Stirrups for Knee Injuries?

I injured my knee really severely a year and a half ago. I tore the medial ligament, and most likely tore the meniscus, and tend to lose feeling from the knee down when riding. It also gets incredibly painful after riding. My saddle fits both of us, I have ridden in it with and without knee blocks, and this doesn't affect the pain, and my stirrups are adjusted to the correct length for both flatwork and jumping

I currently ride in the Acavallo Arena Safety stirrups, however these no longer provide enough support for my knee. Ideally I want stirrups with a safety realease, and a wide footbed, but this is not necessary. People have reccomended both FreeJumps and Flex-On stirrups, but I am open to all options.

I am not looking for exercises to do, or ways to strap my knee, as I currently do both of these. I only want opinions on stirrup irons.

Freejumps do the job for me and my dodgy knees. Some places (Forelock and Load iirc) hire them out so you can trial before you buy. There have been a (very small) handful of cases of Freejumps breaking or not giving way when they should and people getting dragged. I’ve never had an issue and IMO this is a risk with any stirrup if you fall in exactly the ‘right’ way but it’s something to be aware of.

I always found flexi sprenger-type stirrups made my pain worse as they’re not a stable base, but others have found them amazing so I think it’s quite a personal thing.
