stirrups/treads to help with foot postion/grip?

I love my mountain horse safety ones, have sloping treads with grooves in for the grooves in the bottom of your boots to fit in.

I am just now waiting for my delivery of my Sprenger Bow Balance irons. I borrowed some to try and loved them, I usually lose my stirrups very easily but I could "grip" these more easily as there is less worry about ending up standing in your stirrups as the springs take the extra bit of weight you need to put in them to grip them properly. I don't know about foot position though! Best thing I've found for that would be a Wow saddle!
I have a friend who has the Mountain Horse SCS treads and boots, apparently they're difficult to get in place at first or if you lose your stirrups, but it's really hard to lose them once they're "locked" in place.

Yes the cheesgraters are good also you can get the ones with like sandpaper and they are excellent all the eventers use these and I hunt in mine, never slip.
