I bought a pair of these less than 18 months ago, and am disappointed to find that the stitching on the edge, that attaches the leather to the webbing. has come undone at the point where the "T" bar slots into the hole. Has anyone else had this problem? I'll ask for a refund if it's a common problem, but would like another pair if not.

Probably is - I have Bates wintec pro webbers (synthetic) and now the stiching and edge of the webbing gets hooked up around the "T"

I don't think they are long lived products, but if they have lasted over a year, I cannot see them refunding either.

Crikey, I would have thought they would last alot longer than 2 years...that's rubbish....what about the Albion ones? They do a no-stretch stirrup leather

the leather actually wore through on the face of my first pair of bates webbers within the first 12 months!

bates replaced them under the guarantee , the second pair are doing better
