Off autumn hunting tomorrow (not particularly enthusiastic for the early start!) but having only hunted after the opening meet I'm not sure which is the correct attire for autumn hunting- I'm wearing tweed but either have a navy patterned stock, or a navy and spot tie and white shirt, which is more appropriate?

Posted in here rather than the Hunting forum as hoping to get a reply before this evening!

Either - I tend to wear a white shirt, green tie with hunt emblem on (worth asking your hunt if they have one), and a green tweed.

I am also out in the morning, very excited bar the 5am alarm call!

Have fun!

Thank you very much! First day out with my new one so excited(/nervous) to see how she is with it all!

Let us know how you get on - it is my lad's 2nd time out and unfortunately he was a bit of a nutter last week, so hope he is calmer tomorrow!

Had a lovely morning, she didn't put a foot out of line so i'll be ditching the green ribbon for our next outing!

You got back early! I have only just got back in!

We had a fab morning too and pleased to report all went well our end too, and horse a lot more sensible this time.

I am glad you had a lovely time x

ps Don't be tempted to ditch the green ribbon too soon as sometimes they are more excited the next time they go, as 'know what's happening'!!!! Having said that mine disproved that theory so feel free to ignore me....)
