I use Venetian Turpentine instead, for the anti-bacterial properties and stand the tin in some hot water first to thin it out. I put it on before he's turned out - in the morning during the winter and of an evening in the summer before he goes back to his field.

I have used this, but same as the question when do you use it so i changed to the Kevin Bacon Hoof buster stuff far less messy

I use it if Cairo gets starts to get smelly feet - I use the spray - so much easier and give the feet a quick squirt after picking out.

I generally use it once or twice a week in winter as part of his "maintenance".

Great stuff - the old boys who old me to use really know their stuff.

Can I please just scream - CAMROSA!!! it is absolutely amazing stuff - doesn't hurt, creates a shield and heals at the same time. Does not stick to anything.
I have never come across anything like it.
