I've discovered today, that my tin of tar and lost its lid and leaked over my entire first aid kit, meaning that most of it has had to be chucked away!

so im looking for replacement stuff and have just discovered a spray version of Stockholm tar, does anyone else use this? is it as good as the tin? I can't quite see how its something that could be sprayed coz its so blimmin thick but if the spay works that would be brilliant!

I've tried the spray on Stockholm tar in the past. It kind do did the job but did seem 'weaker'. How about getting a tin but keeping it in a Ziplock bag?

The spray does work - I use it for wounds on chickens

It's not as thick but isn't too bad and does stay put ok

Sorry to hijack your thread. Would stockholm tar be the right thing to use on shedding frogs? Well they've already shed but the extremes from wet to dry have made it all happen at once? Thanks :o and sorry for jumping in again :o

ah cool thanks, I've only ever used it for packing out an abscess hole, which wasn't the easiest thing, so if its less thick it might be easier! does it smell as strong? my hands stink still haha!
