Stocking Up Question

Molly is in stall rest for a splint and the weather is extremely hot (90-100 degrees Farhenheit). She looks like she's stocking up, but only in one hind foot. Is this normal? I don't know if it usually happens to just one. I cold hosed it and the swelling really went down, and there's no heat in it.

Also, I heard that if you use standing wraps they can become dependant on them. True or not?

She is on 2 weeks stall rest. is that too long to have standing wraps on her 24/7?

Give her some Epson Salt in her tea. It will reduce any puffyness in her legs. I personally wouldn't put stable wraps on, especially with it being so hot.
