In and around the berkshire area??I am looking at getting one.
Also any opinions on them?

Looking for new or 2nd hand, stuffed or cair and any colour.

In fact- looking for 2!

my friend is selling one, used twice, 17.5 inch, brown I think. new condition.

I used to have one, v comfy but didnt fit the horse i had at the time properly.

I bought one in July and I love it!
I hate overly padded, deep seated saddles anyways (could be just me though as I grew up in Canada riding hunter in close contact saddles). I took the knee rolls off mine as they attach with velcro and I find it puts me in a good forward position for cantering, galloping and jumping and my leg stays put too. I feel secure in it as well, not slippery.

You may have to take a size down though as the seat can be long. I'm 5'9", 11 1/2 stone and usually take a 17.5" in GP saddles but I sat in a 17.5 Wintec CC and it was too big for me and bridged on my mare so I chose the 17" and it fits good.

Mine is the flocked one as I know some saddlers won't touch the Cair ones when it comes time to adjusting the fit.

I chose the Newmarket one as I like light tack but it can be hard finding tack to match it in that colour. You can use your normal leather girth with it (as long as it has roller buckles). I bought the matching Wintec slimline stirrup leathers for it. They squeaked a bit at first but the new finish has worn off now and they are fine. If you buy the matching "leathers", get the slim line ones and not the normal ones as the normal ones are bulkier and can get stiff in the cold.

I've not had the chance to change gullets as the medium gullet fits the horse I ride (an Arab) but it seems straight forward enough to change it. The saddle is SO EASY to keep clean too. I hate washing tack but all I do is sponge it down.

I bought mine new and on sale for £248 from R and R country but they are in Yorkshire. They have sales on regularly and post all over the country and are very helpful too.
