Im doing the Novice late on friday, hopefully the ground wont be too cut up!

They are doing the Show jumping on the surface so looks like they have all intentions of trying to run, fingers crossed!

Anyone else going Friday? doing Novice?
 
Best of luck. Metcheck has given it dry for Somerset next week apart from Wed afternoon so let's hope it runs.
Will we park in the same place to you think and hack over to the sj? Or park down there
 
Yes i think so the entries list i have says

" the show jumping test will be sited on the all weather arena so please allow extra time to reach this phase"

So from that i assume we park and dressage as normal.

Good news on the weather forecast lets hope its right!

BTW did we share a BL clinic sj back in March I think, at Leyland Court. I was on bay mare, shared a lorry with Tilly

Ah yes I remember, your mare was fairly green but very willing to give it all a go! are you competing on her at SL? how is she going?

I think I am doing dressage about 4pm (working on my number and length of dressge test) so will I miss you going in the morning?

No its my second, did Novice at Stonar, he was really good but my riding wasnt the best! got 26 dressage which i was thrilled with, 2 SJ down (average for him) then he was flying xc, so much so i rode with a little to much enthusiasm into the water which was element 16b and missed element 16c coming out! doh! but thrilled with his as first novice. Stockland lovell is normally a pretty testing course so got fingers crossed already, was supposed to have donr Shipton Moyne this week but it was cancelled

Dunno if you're interested but my friend was up schooling there today and said the going was "perfect" !

Sounds good! It dries out there so quickly, especially with this wind! The forecast doesnt look to bad, dry sat and sun, rain monday then dry tuesday, hope for dry wednesday, thursday and friday aswell!
