Does anyone know if stockland lovell is still running? the website hasn't been updated in ages and I did hear that sadly the owner died earlier this year.

A friend and I were hoping to do their eventer weekend as it seemed good value but then I noticed that the dates were for 2009.

Any ideas? And if not does anyone know of somewhere that does a similar thing?

Thanks all

From the other post:

Here at Stockland Lovell Equestrian we were not a little surprised … and dare we say taken aback … to learn from Forum on your website that many people believe that Stockland Lovell Equestrian is closing. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Changes have taken place in the management structure with Martin & Mark Hill now playing a very active role in the direction of the company. Andrew Guilding, who together with the late Mrs Lavinia Hill, for many years lead all aspects of Equestrian development at Stockland Lovell, is reducing his commitment but is still maintaining a very proactive role on the farm and in the area. Sarah Tye remains as Equestrian Manager assisted by Lynda Ayre who also continues to manage Stockland Lovell Saddlery with the rest of the team remaining. It is planned that a new post will be created that will include those areas which Andrew Guilding has released with applications being considered at this time ready for the 2010 season.

Complete refurbishment of existing obstacles will be undertaken over the winter months together with further development of new fences … both portable and permanent … and the topography of the estate.

There is also a full programme of events already in place for 2010. Next year’s Residential Camping Diary has few available opportunities left for booking and a full diary of Clinics and Training is being finalised and will soon be posted on our website.
