I wish LizzieJ would come in here and post photos of Milo - he is the most beautifully marked blue merle BC - but totally nuts

Harvey - Patches new puppy - how adorable is he (at the moment!!)
smile.gif

I will take any of SA's dogs and Otto at a push

To FL - my very first dog of my own was a Norwegian Buhund, my friend's mum bred and showed them but this one wasn't going to make the grade as a showing dog so she gave her to me and in fact I named by daughter after her!!

Easy for me too - Keltic's Daisy

Although any of Cayla's whippets/greyhounds/lurchers come a VERY close second

LOL - yes (obviously my daughter's name is not Buhund though!!!) She was the happiest, sweetiest little thing, used to go everywhere with me. One day I will dig out some photos and scan them in (if I ever work out how to do that!).

I took her to a local show once and the judge didn't know what she was, so I had to explain the points to look out for in the breed - she pulled me in third, but only because I think she felt she conscious!!

I hope he stays adorable....although I have a feeling he will turn into Hopping_Robin's Henry's evil twin shortly!

I think it would have to be Otto or Henry for me. Mind you I like Rara_2009's (I think that's who it is) two border collies.

Oh no Ravenwood, I didn't think you named your daughter Buhund, I only assumed your dog was a bitch, hence me saying "you named your daughter after her".

They are a very happy and confident breed. But to quote the Swedish all-round judge Carl-Johan Adlercreutz, who the first time he ever meet an Eurasier, in I think a Best in Show-final, decided to place it first! Afterwards he said something like "A good judge should always be able to recognise a good dog, regardless of the breed." So maybe it was just a shame there was two even better dogs than yours, there that day.

Sadly the Buhunds are becoming more rare, maybe because their look doesn't catch everyone's eyes.

LOL - I know FL - I was only joking about the name Buhund
smile.gif

I didn't realise they were a rare breed now - although I must say I have never seen one since - but seeing as I am now in the gundog/shooting sect - its all labs and spaniels with a few HPR's thrown in
smile.gif

That is where is where my expertise lies - well if you can call it expertise - more like a bit of general knowledge!

Jack of all trades/master of none sums me up a bit better!
