Very distressing. The horse, which was recovering after recently having an eye removed, was stolen during the night from stables in Warrington, but has now been safely recovered.

Too little time, too much to read.
Glad he's home. It nearly always seems the case that it is not a total stranger taking a horse. Ownership disputes, relationship issues etc. seem more common these days.

Fair as a general comment, but I have to say that the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team are a good and effective unit. We're lucky to have them.

Feel sorry for the owners how will they be able to keep the horse in the stable for someone to steal a horse there definitely a bigger story to this .

aw that's great he's been recovered and back home safely.
it really does hone in on the importance of good cctv. so many places just don't bother, but I think in this day and age its a silly risk to be taking.

Good. But also if it was taken by a known person I doubt the investigations were too difficult.
