Stolen horse??!!

Again, it's just what I was told. Ever since I met her, I've been told she's not had anything done with her. She's a nightmare to get a headcollar on, and was a nightmare to lead, although she is quite calm in the field.
She pulls about but gives up quite quickly, we had to walk her back with 3 people just in case anything happened.
This site seems to be full of nasty little children who will sit there and ridicule someone's choice in hairstyle or hair colour, make out that an accidental pregnancy is a laughable matter, and not read facts or read the entire story before turning it into a load of crap.
So, to everyone who actually gave me decent advice, I thank you, she is now sorted, in my name and there's been no sign of these travelers at all.
To those of you who decided to actually be the trolls you're accusing me of being, please, enjoy my facebook, I'm glad you got a laugh out of the fact I'm different to you, and, well, go do one :D

I'm not saying your story isn't true OP and if it is true then I wish you the best.. But how did you go about leading an unhandled horse to the livery yard?

Not to mention sitting in the field with it as it lay down. Your story is rather confusing TaltalTaffy, as you say the filly hasn't been touched, then provide a photo of your viewing where the same filly lies down in the field while you cuddle her. Perhaps you can see why people find that puzzling?

I'm sorry if all you say is true and you've been doubted, but a lot do come on here with stories which don't add up, just as a wind up. People are used to being suspicious. :)

I think the threats from the previous "owner" will be mainly bluff. Now that she's chipped etc, stand your ground. Good luck with her! Keep us posted.

once again, my last comment wasn't read. I'm leaving this website. It's full of nasty little people that just sit behind a computer screen taking the piss out of the girl who's different.
Just like being back in school, really.

OP since your last comment every single comment you've recieved has been supportive... Why are you being so defensive?

If you're referring to my post, yours wasn't there when i wrote it.

I understand your anger about people having a go about your appearance and personal life, that's unacceptable. But most on here aren't like that. :)

it was in response to this ^^

I appreciate the nicer posts, I'm literally just completely outraged that I dare come onto a horse forum looking for help/advice and I get my appearance and life choices made fun of.
I've had a load of nice posts from loads of people, I had my mind put at ease this morning when I was in a state, and now that I'm just checking this after feeling like absolute crap all day, the first thing I see is "laughable, the hairstyle and colour says it all LOL" and "pregnant and bored it would seem"
That isn't what I came here for, I was looking for any advice on what I could have done before the vet came out. Which now that it's sorted, if I'm going to be getting spammed with messages that are just taking the piss out of me, then I no longer have any need to be on this site.

Thank you, but I don't feel like I want to be in this forum anymore to be honest. I didn't come here to have the piss taken out of me.

I'm sorry, my post was intended to explain to you why people were suspicious. It wasn't an accusation or meant to offend. :confused3: As I've already said, your previous comment wasn't there when I wrote it. Sometimes while you're writing, new posts are posted which you don't see until you've finished writing.

One person made a comment about your appearance, and it was out of order. I've never seen anyone picked on on here for their hair etc before. :(

it's fine, but i didn't come to this site to be made fun of tbh :(

Well no, of course not. I unreservedly apologize for anything I've said to upset you. If you stay, you will find that most here are very supportive and some are also knowledgeable and helpful. However, it's understandable if you don't want to stay.

I hope it all works out with your filly.

it is all resolved, she was checked for a chip today and there was no existing one that the travelers had claimed she had, so at 11.30 this morning she was chipped and passported in my name x

they probably do, but they can't do anything now. The yard's high security and she's stabled at night, so there's no way of them getting in at all x

Well I've bought off traveller friends, they have been happy to cash or cheques and no he didn't have a passport as he was 4 months old, he's what I would call a plain cob, has cost me a lot lot money as he had to have a big operation as he only dropped 1 testicle. Seems he is what they are now calling a gypsy mini cob, looks like a cob only doesn't grow very big, but has many faults as in tiny hooves and much more, love him to pieces, just wish I'd never bought him if I'd known as he's going to be more trouble along the line.

Really............ so you are telling us that if someone buys a horse in good faith from a traveller, which turns out to be stolen, passporting it and chipping it will resolve the issue?
What a good job it is a high security yard and your YO so pleased to have you in her yard.

Have you even read the post?? The horse WASNT stolen, they were trying to scam her.

I don't think this poster needs any more nasty comments tbh. She's already had a typically warm HHO welcome :rolleyes3:

Yes , well have a look through the thread and you will see that there is another post showing this girl with her horse in a field with buttercups.

Can't actually believe you're still banging on with this. Posts like this are what gives this forum a bad name.
The girl has already said that she's known the horse since summer. Why do you have such a problem with this?
