Stolen Tack - Theale (BERKSHIRE)

My friend mailed me today and confirmed that all her tack was stolen from her yard at Theale, Berkshire. Whilst they are reasonably remote from the main road, quite a large amount was taken and the tack room was not easy to gain access to.

It was stolen last weekend on the Saturday night.

Just be on your guard. Horses all fine and undisturbed.

Thanks for letting us know. Really too close for comfort for us. Will make sure everyone on alert. Not many keep tack up the yard now as we were done a couple of years ago ... TWICE!

Tack is FAR more likely to be stolen than horses and far easier to offload, so it is very important that people lock up! People are thinking suspects are looking at their horses, strange people on yards are usually casing the joint, so keep eyes OPEN!
